Royal Canin’s fourth Veterinary Business Forum focuses on felines and the future of the veterinary profession

Over 350 vets and practice managers from more than 50 countries were invited to Royal Canin’s fourth Veterinary Business Forum at La Grande Motte in France. Royal Canin’s two-day event focused on felines as the future of the veterinary profession and how small animal practices can enhance their offering to cat owners.

After listening to presentations from leading worldwide ‘cat-only practices’, delegates were organised into groups and invited to pass judgement on how cat-friendly their own practices were. They then worked together to develop a practical feline strategy that they could implement.

One of the vets who attended, Graeme McKeown BSc. Hons, BVM&S, MRCVS, Director of Companion Care based in Hove and Tunbridge Wells, commented: “The conference was both innovative and thought provoking and gave an invaluable insight into the future of feline practice from a number of different international perspectives.”
