Petition to ensure all dogs scanned on arrival
Microchips are vital in ensuring lost dogs are returned to their owners, but should mandatory microchip scans be introduced for all patients in veterinary clinics?
The petition was founded by Bruce Forsyth to prevent dog theft, and reunite stolen dogs with their owners.
Current laws do not enforce mandatory scans and dog thievery can be difficult to track, but is compulsory scanning a practical solution to the problem?
