Exciting Development in Adipose Derived Stem Cell Treatment – First Canine Success

The first adipose derived stem cell procedure performed on a canine has been a success, providing a massive leap forward in treatment options. The procedure costs half as much as older, less effective treatments and uses a small amount of fat from the dog to produce stem cells.

First dog given full prosthetic implants

Naki’o lost his paws to frostbite when he was abandoned in a harsh Nebraska winter. Since then the case has become increasingly more interesting as Naki’o has been given four prosthetic implants allowing him full mobility. This exciting development is a benchmark for prosthetic technology and hopefully sets a precedent for future cases.
