Hyperlipidemia is an observation that is often not acted on, with the importance of lipemic serum underrated in diagnosis. There is a strong link between hyperlipidemia and seizures, as well as a host of other diseases.

Dutch veterinary students make One Health movie

Two veterinary students in the Netherlands have made this movie promoting the one health concept.

The short movie named ‘One Health Vets’ shows the possibilities that veterinarians have outside the traditional veterinary practice. The movie explains the importance of cooperation between veterinarians and human doctors.

Besides the endless career possibilities of veterinarians, the movie addresses the One Health theme. The One Health concept is a worldwide strategy for expanding interdisciplinary collaborations and communications in all aspects of health care for humans, animals and the environment.

The two students behind the movie: Merel Rooijmans and Tineke Kramer had the need to show other veterinary students that there is so much more you can do with your veterinary degree.
