A study into lymphoma has found the protein RNPC1 could prove integral in diagnosing and treating cancer. RNPC1 can be used to deactivate a gene often found to be cancerous, p53.
The treatment has been tested (with consent from owners) on lymph nodes in dogs, however the treatment could also be applicable to humans. Read more for the full details on this exciting study.
