Free ESCCAP seminar in Bristol on changes to tick control (28 October)
From January 2012 regulations on tick control will change and quarantine will no longer be mandatory. Vets will need to step in and advise owners on the appropriate measures to make sure their pets don’t carry exotic ticks into the country.

RCVS celebrates another year of practice this month and has a lot of announcements to share with the community.
There’s a new team of officers, awards and presentations including the Veterinary Nursing Golden Jubilee, the outgoing President’s address and a lecture on veterinary education through the years.

‘Best Ever’ Large Herds Seminar

A record number of delegates attended the 2011 Large Herds seminar ‘Measuring Outcome, Managing Outcome’. The seminar had guest speakers from the UK and US and covered issues ranging from Hepatic Oxidation Theory to mass mastitis management. If you attended the seminar what did you think?
